A cache for Creekside because it's a great little area, and Whistler's original home. This cache may be available in the winter, it depends on how much snow is on the ground in the valley. The cache consists of four locations in total, all within an easy walk of each other. This is a kid friendly location, with a little playground in the middle. Just be sure to keep them close at the final. Please be sure to replace the first and third stage hides as you found them. Thanks.
When skiing first started in Whistler it was here that it all happened. In 1965 the first ski lifts were constructed with a view to hosting the winter Olympics. It took a lot longer for the Olympics to get here than anyone anticipated, but in 2010 the event finally happened. Rather than try to rehash the history of Whistler Creek here, I would refer you to the Whistler museum website for the full story and pictures. You can visit the Museum website by clicking on the "related web page" link. The Museum is located in the main village next to the library. Note: the trail to the final is NOT on hotel property so don't be afraid to walk up.
