Geocache Description:

The 2nd in the Doors Open Middlesex Series. To get the best of this series try in Sept 17 & 18, 2011 when all the historic buildings are open to tours.
This is a clear Lock n lock container with log & small trades.
Park the lot on Mill Street.
WARNING - the hints are quite clear for new geocachers who may not have a gps unit.

Records suggest the dam and mill began operating in 1794. The pond and surrounding area are a natural habitat for waterfowl, turtles, bass and even some beaver – a rarity in southwestern Ontario. The Carolinian forest, which includes black cherry and white oak, is home to many species of birds. A unique natural area located right in the village of Dorchester!
