The BEST high pressure crest I have ever seen!
A high pressure crest is an elongated shaped crest that occursat the top of the volcanic lava flows, caused by the movement of lava in its interior, which causes a hydrostatic pressure at the top of the stringer allowing the arching along a linear structure.

About the EarthCache:You will have to perform two tasks:
a) estimate the maximum width of this high pressure crest.
b) estimate the length of this high pressure crest.
HINT: for both questions use your gps for measurement or just walk on the crest and use a step like one meter to estimate!

Uma Crista de pressão é uma elevação alongada, em forma de crista que ocorre no topo das escoadas lávicas, originada pela movimentação da lava no seu interior , que provoca um pressão hidrostática no topo da escoada, arqueando-a segundo uma estrutura linear.
