Nice short, off trail hike to a fun cache for the kids in a beautiful park setting.
Cell signal is fairly strong.
A large cache box is the treasure with some goodies for the kids. Please restock if you take something.

The goods: Anyhow, my family and I come here often for playing, picnics and running (for me). The paved trail around the lake is 0.9 mile and there are a number of unpaved trails that branch off from there. There are a few more caches in the area but surprised that there were none around were this one is hidden. This is great for kids as you can get out into the woods without having to go too far into the woods. My 5 year old son helped me fill the cache with goodies for kids so please leave something of equal or greater value so the cache continues to be cool for the little ones. My 5 year is pretty happy to find sweet SWAG. After all, we need to keep future cache-ers excited about the treasure hunt.
Location: Follow the paved trail to the far side of the lake. Dirt trails branch off the paved ones. May be muddy if raining. Please re-hide well!
Cache description: The cache itself is a camo box, look inside for treasure.. Please return it as found so it doesn't get moogled. Good luck. Please fight the urge to place soda can tabs, bottle caps, random playing cards, business cards, lip gloss, or other miscellaneous junk in my cache. Kids are sad when they find these items. Thank you again!
