A great hike if beginning at the Steinke Basin parking lot on County DL. Before you hike the Upland Trail Loop, note that it is a 3.8 mile loop with variable grades that will take you to the top of the bluffs for a view of Lake Wisconsin in the distance. This cache is located near a rock formation we thought looked like a "chimney rock" in the woods just off the trail. There are so many wonderful places to visit at DL, we just wanted to show off another one of ours.
This trail is also part of the DL mountain bike system, but be prepared for some climbs and descents along the way.
