Geocache Description:

SLO =====
Poiscite se en novi (stari) most v Ljubljani.

Zato je bil most neuradno poimenovan kot "Mrtvaski most".

Srecali boste nutrije, race, gosi, sive caplje in pozimi galebe, kormorane in celo par labodov.
V okrogli plasticni skatli boste nasli dnevnik in drobne predmete.

ENG =====
Find another new (old) bridge in Ljubljana. Then you can take a walk along the Ljubljanica river and appreciate other attractions in this area.
Short history: Originally called Hradecki bridge first stood at the site of current Shoemaker's bridge. Because it was too narrow and inadequate, architect Joze Plecnik relocated (1931) the cast iron bridge’s construction to this location adjacent to the morgue that used to be there. Hence, the bridge was unofficially dubbed the "Bridge of Death". Over the years, and the fact that the bridge was used for traffic, it became very worn out. In 2004, bridge was closed to motor traffic, removed and after renovation placed to other location. Anyhow, the building of the new bridge took place after the iron bridge was removed. The new "Bridge of Death", you can admire on this location now, was officially opened in September 2011. The bridge is very beautiful and elegant, so perhaps it deserves a better name. Any ideas?

Near the bridge, or if you take a walk along the river's banks you can appreciate diverse fauna consisting mainly of wild ducks, nutrias, geese, grey herons, and over the winter, cormorants, gulls and even a pair of swans. If you become hungry or thirsty, you can fortify yourself with the famous seafood or Balkan restaurants etc. Not far away, there is also park Kodeljevo where, in the summer, you can enjoy in the shade or trees or practicing some sports ... and quite uncommon church of Sainte-Thérese de Lisieux made by the architect Herman Hus.

In a round plastic box you can find a logbook and small items.
