!!!The Cache is not at the posted coordinates!!!
When my friends and I were in High School we found a great place to hangout, a place that we almost had to ourselves. It was a small park in the Town of Oconomowoc that nobody knew was there. We called it "C-Dubs", our own slang version of the road its on. It had a large wooded area with small paths that we used to do some paintball. There were old swings, metal slide, and a rickety wooden merry-go-round. It was a great place to leave behind everything else.
Now I bring my family out here all the time, its one of my son's favorite places. The township updated the old playground set to a great and safe state of the art play gym. When I first discovered geocaching I knew "C-Dubs" had to have a cache to bring people out to this hidden gem. The township made me wait until spring to put one here so they could finish building a pavilion.
It is easy to drive by this park because its entrance is shared with a driveway to a home and the park is behind the home. The only thing there is to let you know of the entrance is a small green sign by the entrance. This cache is good for all seasons. Spring will be a little wet from melted snow and Winter will make it hard to walk to the cache, but be very beautiful to see the snow and ice by the stream.
NOTE:
The township just constructed a new pavilion with bathrooms on the grounds. So there is a lot of mud around the construction and there may be a worker or two near by. You still can enjoy the entire park. Please be respectful and I suggest wearing boots for the first couple weeks of spring. I got permission to plant a cache here by the Township of Oconomowoc.
