Easily accessed by Convention Center visitors or metro riders alike, this mural guards ingress to Shaw's Blagden Alley gallery spaces and one of DC's latest extreme dining experiences, Rouge 24.
Due to urban alley placement, coords are approximate; once you see the mural you'll need to rely on your geosense more than your GPS.
Please remember to replace just as found, and don't forget your writing utensil -- enjoy!
November 2015 Update: Blagden Alley now hosts a bunch of mural works newly christened DC Alley Museum, just walk further down the alley and around the corner for more examples of hidden DC Murals!
June 2016 Update: The mural is gone and I can't find any information about whether the wall will be repainted. I will leave the hide as a #dchiddenmurals hide until I decide how to replace it. Please take a walk down the alley while you're here to enjoy the great art just a few steps away!
February 2021 Update: I've decided to leave this one as-is in these times of Covid as a memorial to what once was, and to reiterate and strongly recommend you explore the alley to see the many great murals just around the corner -- also a great spot to get some coffee if you need a geoboost!
** Congrats to WWCD for the FTF! **
