How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This cache is hidden off one of the hiking/ski trails that go through Big Foot Beach State Park. Depending on the time of year, you may be able to park closer than the listed parking coordinates, but, in either case, the walk should be relatively short. Pets are restricted to certain areas of the park, so please pay attention to the signs. This is a ski trail when there is snow and hikers should stay as close to the side of the trail as possible to avoid damaging the track. Tree cover is heavy at GZ, so we hope the coordinates will get you close. The hide is definitely winter-friendly.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Anne Korman-Manager of Big Foot Beach State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at:click here
