This multi cache is a number 3 in the series of Italian border bunkers (IBB) and it will take you back to the history of GAF (guardia alla frontiera) units. These barracks were bulit in second half of 1930's to protect the frontier of Italy. Up the road there are o lot of other army instalations and bunkers. In two of them, there are caches Italian border bunker 1# (visit link) and Italian border bunker 2#- crack the code (visit link) .
At the given coordinates you can park you car. In case of snow, during winter time, you can park at these coordinates N46 30.574 E13 38.766, aprox. 670 m away.
Stage 1: N46 30.672 E13 39.227 count all the stairs leading from the road to the plateau. This is A.
Stage 2: N46 30.720 E13 39.343 count all the big pillars at the side of the road. This is B.
Stage 3: N46 30.708 E13 39.363 count all the little holes in the top row in the south wall of the road. This is C.
Stage 4: N46 30.665 E13 39.280 count all the windows on the ground flor in the south wall. This is D.
Stage 5: N46 30.645 E13 39.248 count all the little pillars on top of the bridge on the south side. This is E.

NOTE: be careful at searching and discovering buildings. They are old. There are also few pices of barbed-wire at some entrances and windows.
