This piece of road is very new and has truly eased access for many people living in the area. Soon this area will be home for Midlands Humane Society. As you venture off into the woods, be wary of motorbikes as you share the trail with them. The roaring of their engines should give you plenty of time to get out of the way. You can choose to park at the junction of Indian Hills Road and College Road and walk the trail north, or park in visitor parking at Sherwood Apartments and walk south along the trail. The road and trail are used quite a bit so watch for muggles. As the forest blooms you probably will encounter undergrowth and low-lying branches - keep a sharp eye out so you don't get a sharp stick in one! There are a few old barb wire fences along the way, so watch for tripping and poking hazards.
