An easy to find cache in a plastic snap-lid container, inside a green plastic bag.
This geocache is placed and supported by the Bow Horn Bay Fire Department. Our practice nights are Thursday's at 7pm. Stop by the hall anytime and say hello to Fire Chief Mark Taylor. We will be happy to give you a tour of the hall and climb into the trucks. Snacks and cold drinks in the fridge.
We have 21 dedicated paid-on-call volunteer firefighters with a wide range of skills and training. Our Fire Service Area covers Bowser, Qualicum Bay, Spider Lake, and we provide some services to the Horne Lake area. Our area stretches 10km along the east coast of Vancouver Island, and all the way to the Horne Lake Caves and beyond.
