Geocache Description:

THESE ARE NOT THE CO-ORDINATES FOR THIS CACHE. The cache is not here-these co-ordinates are for a road nearby where you may park. It is often busy with visitors to the museum who park in the layby and also on the grass verge. Please do not obstruct gateways.

This series is placed in pretty woodland near my home, where I walk my dog most days. The footpaths are good but can get muddy. The only downside is the traffic noise from the nearby road which gets less noticable as you go into the woods. Tring is a small market town-with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The museum is a branch of the Natural History Museum and is well worth a visit. Stubbing's Wood is owned by Dacorum Borough Council and the caches are placed with permission of the Woodland Officer. In each of the other caches in this series there is a letter and a number. To find the final cache you need to change the letters for numbers in the co-ordinates below. N51 4B. A (F-C) C W000 ED. (E-G) (H-A) (I-G) The final cache is hidden within the area of the woods, off the path and is an old ammunition box given to me by my son and his partner for this purpose.
