The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) has once again given me permission to rehide a cache in it's preserve behind it's headquarters in Ambler.
This is a rehide since I have once again joined the ranks of active geocachers. Since my retirement from the sport around 2007 the caches in preserve behind the headquarters were visited, became victims of several floods and were never replaced. They were eventually archived.
This particular cache is more in the spirit of the first cache hidden here by me... It is a simple hide and many of you who remember the past caches here will not find it too interesting however it is a new cache and you do get credit for finding it.
This is a small plastic ammo box filled with interesting swag. It is secured in its hiding place using four (4) magnets. When you replace this cache in its space please be sure to use the magnets.
Even though this is an easy cache to get... the bridge crossing the creek is not very wheelchair friendly. And the cache itself is about 6 feet off the ground. I am 5'8" and I can reach the cache.
The trails behind the WVWA, including the Green Ribbon Trail, is for foot travel only. This means NO BIKES... and no vehicles on the trails. There is parking very close to the cache site.
