How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Easily accessible ammo can. Plenty of space for trade items and for travel bugs.

This cache has been placed with permission from Hollins University. Please respect the grounds by only caching during daylight hours and by not parking on the grass. Convenient parking is available nearby on the circle drive or the attached parking lot.

We live here on campus, and we're also calling this the "friend cache." My daughter and her friends helped put this out together. Each of our kids will continue making TB's with friends and using this as a launching point. This can be a great first find for a new cacher, so bring a rookie along to our "friend cache."

FTF will score a smaller cache container that's prepped and ready to go so you can start one of your own - or better yet, make sure to have a friend with you and then you can collaborate on planting the new cache. Please only take it if you are going to set it up somewhere; otherwise, leave it for someone else to pick up.

We hope you enjoy your visit to campus.
