Welcome to Wauwatosa Cemetery. Please do not go near any graves, and please be respectful if there are any services taking place.
Growing up just a few streets away, Bumpa (my dad, the infamous steveshoe) would take me sledding on the nearby hill before it was fenced off. When I got a little older, he took me up to the infamous Dead Man's Hill on the northwest side of the cemetery where supposedly hundreds of kids had sledded to their early demise and their ghosts stalked any would-be sledders.
As I grew older, this area became a playground for my friends and I as there isn't a whole lot of other green space for a bunch of rowdy 10 year olds except for the cemetery and nearby park. We'd ride our bikes up and down the cemetery paths for hours and always end up biking down Dead Man's Hill on the way home.
This is a little trickier hide because lots of kids still frequent this area and an obvious geocache would attract attention. Please return cache exactly as you found it.
