We have a bird house placed in State Gamelands 166 not far from the parking lot. It will require a stream crossing and about a half mile hike up Brush Mountain. It is placed near a charcoal flat. I am not aware of any trails other than game trails in the area.
Follow Beaver Dam Road Exd. to parking at N 40° 31.522 W 078° 15.143
There is only about 200' elevation gain on this hike.
Blaze Orange is required during hunting season as this area is designated State Game Lands and is heavily hunted during the primary hunting seasons.
It is highly encouraged that this cache is NOT sought during the primary hunting seasons since State Game Lands are reserved for hunting FIRST, before all other uses. Respect hunters and come back during the off-season or on Sundays.
