Join fellow geocachers for an Earth Day potluck and geocaching extravaganza. 11am - ? (there is a night cache located in the park) There will be door prizes to win (including a few unactivated geocoins) for anyone present at 12:30pm. If you would like to donate something to be added to the prizes, contact Nolron or LilyRidgeFam.
There are currently 24 caches and 1 challenge (premium-member) in the park, and 15 more within 2 miles of the park. Potluck will be at the main entrance (listed coords.), parking for the day is $3 (or $25 for a county parks annual pass). If you'd like to park for free, head to geocache FREE PARKING AT LOWES CREEK- GC3875B- then trek to main entrance. Plastic bags will be available for cache-in, trash-out. Beautiful 250 acre park with lots of trails (major mountain bike park) and diverse terrain. Pit bathrooms on site.
