Pasolini's last home, where he was writing an unfinushed novel before being killed.
In 1964, the writer and director Pierpaolo Pasolini was shooting "The Gospel according to Matthew" when he saw this medieval tower, and he fell in love with it, bought it in 1970 and restored it. He was writing the novel "Oil" when he got killed in 1975.
You can't enter the tower (it's private property), but you can walk around its walls while you look for the cache. The nearby woods are nice, too.
Nel 1964, Pierpaolo Pasolini stava girando "Il vangelo secondo Matteo" quando si imbatte' nella torre di Chia. Se ne innamoro' al punto di volerla comprare, e dopo averla restaurata vi dimoro' spesso fino alla sua morte, nel 1975. E' qui che stava scrivendo il suo ultimo romanzo, "Petrolio", rimasto incompiuto.
La torre purtroppo non e' visitabile, essendo proprieta' privata, ma e' possibile vederne le mura da vicino, mentre si cerca la cache.
