Geocache Description:

It's a 1hr. hike at the most from the trail head. Lakemont Dr. 4000ft to 4500ft. Moderate steepness. 300ft rock outcrop. No Little Kids!!!

This cache is off of the Arnold Rim Trail. It is a beautiful hike on a fairly new trail. The closest place to park is on Lakemont Dr. From here it is a 1 hr hike tops! You need to hike to the top of the ridge above the San Antonio Falls Overlook. Look for a "widow maker" tree that is lying parallel to the trail at the top of the ridge trail. A "widow maker" is a tree that is stuck in another tree and could fall at anytime. The tree is a pine and the top faces south. Walk passed the tree to an outcrop of rocks. Be careful. The cache is in an old tree trunk. On a clear day you can see all the way to mountains that are 5 miles from the coast and mountains that are in Nevada! All the way across California in one place! Wow! Please keep this place untouched. Thanks
