The terrain maybe a little high, but I don't want anybody taking a digger here. No climbing necessary. Park to the south in the lot. I would not suggest street parking. The area may be soggy depending on the time of year.
Very fitting, the Goldie Diggers gets the FTF. Perfect!
The Goldie Diggers have put together some of the best cache series in our area. None are more impressive then the Geo-Idols series. We have been given 3 seasons of Idols. Each more creative and involved then the last. The hides, the containers, the cache pages themselves were done in a way that only a true mastermind could. He always manages to save a little something more for the finals of each season. Each final has multiple way points with each one better then the first. After you complete an Idol final you deserve to put your feet.
In addition to being a great container maker and hider, Goldie is a great partner to cache with. He truly enjoys seeking caches too. Having Goldie along is sure to bring a laugh or two. The only thing that stands in his way while caching is climbing. It is my understanding that it's best if he is not allowed to do it. Bring him along, but bring a first-aid kit too!
I tried to get as creative as Goldie, but lets face it. He's had way more practice. If anybody deserves to be considered an Idol in this area it is The Goldie Diggers himself. Thank you Goldie for all you do for Geocachers in this area. Oh, and hey, please be careful out there...
