Geocache Description:

Fresia


Fresia is a battleship, nowadays as the main monument of the Square of sovereignty. It is located near the Chilean Naval base and Punta Arenas port. It served with torpedos "Fresia", "Guacolda", "Quidora" and "Tegualda" in local seas for over 35 years and plied those southern waters with sacrifice and courage in defense of the sovereignty of the country.

Fresia es un buque de guerra, en la actualidad como el principal monumento de la Plaza de la soberanía. Se encuentra cerca de la base Naval de Chile y el puerto de Punta Arenas. Se sirve con torpedos "Fresia", "Guacolda", "Quidora" y "Tegualda" en los mares locales de más de 35 años e inició sus recorridos las aguas del sur con el sacrificio y el coraje en la defensa de la soberanía del país.
