How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

DNR Land

This cache is the easiest terrain of the 7 in this area, the other 6 will require a heavy bushwhack.

This is one of 12 Holiday or Celebration themed caches placed for the 2012 West Bend Cache Bash.

Each of the 12 has a number in or on the cache that you will need to write down in order to find the Final Holiday Mystery Cache.

This cache is 1 of 7 that are lined up along the east side of the Milwaukee River.
Use the various parking coordinates and then hike approximately one mile each way to collect these 7 caches.

DISCLAIMER:

These caches are fairly hardcore as far as terrain.
There are no defined trails, but you can follow the river the entire way.
Please stay along the river the entire time to stay on the DNR property.

It will be tricky at times to plot your course .
The grass may be at head level at times. It also may be wet in places depending on the time of year and rainfall.
There will be bushwhacking, thorns, ticks, poison ivy, barbed wire, wet lands, bugs and most importantly some really cool scenery.
I would highly recommend LONG PANTS, due to stinging nettle.
You will be venturing into an area where not many people go.
I have tried to provide cachers with an expierence they won't forget!

If the listed parking area is full, you can park roadside on Oak Drive

I have permission from the DNR to place this cache.
