This very short multi is located in Lions Park in Salmo.
A few years back, we did a cache called Chet's Lazy Man Multi. We thought it was great, so we wanted to pay homage.
This park was home to the Salmo Basher Girls Fastball team (9-12 year olds) for a number of years. They were in NO way, lazy, having won the Provincial title in 1993 and 1995, runners up in 1994, and coming fifth in 1996, but garnering most sportsmanlike team at the same time! A number of girls from the bashers also medalled at the provincials with teams representing the West Kootenays in all age groups.
This era is remembered fondly by one proud coach and dad!
