Heiwender: After over 6 years with plenty of great logs of people enjoying this spot as much as I did its time to close this chapter. It seems the container is gone again and the structure is not save anymore. Also when I found this place 6 years ago I had it all by myself - nowadays it seems well known and crowded.

Geocache Description:

The Pagoda of the black dressed buddha

Sure, it`s one of 4000 pagodas in Bagan, but if you looking out for a nice alternative and less touristic sunset spot AND a cachechallenge, this might become a very special one for you. I didn`t find out the name, so I just called it "The black-dressed buddha pagoda", but If somebody has more informations about this little masterpiece, please don`t hesitate to send me some.

The easiest way to get here is by bike. It´s right in the middle of the central plain not too far from Pyathada Paya. One easy of several possibilities is to cycle from New Bagan to Dhammayazika and then just follow the road up north for about 1km. It´s only accessible by dust roads. Take care of thorns around!!

The Cache is a little orange box on the highest level you can reach by stairs. Look above your head, use the spoiler and your stealthmode in case of muggels around. If your smaller than 2m a little climbing or teamwork might be helpful.
