...Was So Big Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

iowaPete: My family and I had a wonderful time preparing and placing this series. We received dozens of compliments about it, and we're pleased with the way it turned out. But, it's showing its age a bit, and the number of visits is slowing down, so we thought it was time to put this one to bed.

BUT! There is a new adventure waiting in the wings. Stay tuned!

Geocache Description:

The sixth cache in the "I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed A..." series.

I know an old lady who swallowed a pig. Her mouth was so big to swallow a pig. She swallowed the pig to catch the dog, she swallowed the dog to catch the cat, she swallowed the cat to catch the bird, she swallowed the bird to catch the spider, she swallowed the spider to catch the fly, but I don't know why she swallowed the fly. I guess she'll die.

By now, you can see that these caches are more about the container than they are about the hide. And, I'm fairly sure you can guess what THIS container will be. This container is a state quarter-exchange cache. It will start out with 4 quarters from different states. Feel free to swap one of your own quarters for one that's in the cache. It'll be interesting to see how many different "state" quarters are exchanged. The hill here might require youngsters to hang onto Mom or Dad's hand when climbing, but if you take your time, you'll be fine. Make sure the container is returned to its pre-find location before leaving. Keep CITO in the back of your mind while you're out here, and just enjoy your day on the Heritage Trail!

We're starting out with quarters from Massachusetts, Nebraska, Nevada, and Washington.
