Join me for the 6th annual Geocaching Equinox Picnic. Come to the picnic and share geocaching stories and geocoins and travel bugs. This year the following is required to attend:

Equipment: have the proper gear Water: bring a lot
Hike length to picnic: 8 to 10 miles depending on your route (round trip) Elevation Gain: 2000 ft Additional requirements: Bushwack to picnic location Views: Scenic!
Last year's hike
THIS YEAR to get to the picnic you follow the trail to the Ashokan High Peak and then you bushwhack on a herd path to the views and the picnic spot!!! This photograph below shows the picnic location east of the high point.
PLEASE NOTE: The hike does not count as the event. To get credit for the event you must journey to the picnic location.
