Geocache Description:

May 19th - Between 11:00am- 2:00pm (inside the Fort Langley National Historic Site).

Millions of years ago, in a galaxy deep in Cyberspace, the Krystal Star exploded into a billion fragments. These fragments were collected by a mysterious figure known only to us as The Gassy One, a mythic semi-hero with a lot of time on his hands. The “Great Gassy” hid billions of shards throughout the galaxy. And now it's up to you to help find them!

Join us for a Meet & Greet at the Fort Langley National Historic Site on Saturday, May 19th from 11:00am- 2:00pm. This Event will be held within the Fort walls, for more information on hours and fees check out the "related web page" at the top of the cache page or contact us via email. This is a location that is great for kids and adults alike to learn some local history and about geocaching! Come share your stories, trade trackables, and meet new cachers. There will be GPS units available on site to "rent for free" for those that don't own one... so you will be able to find a few caches placed on the property. Some of the other activities that will be going on throughout the day: • Guided tour • Coopering demonstration • Historic weapons demonstration • Blacksmith demonstration.
