Geocache Description:

Honoring the brave men and women of the Fire Service.

This cache is located in downtown at Fireman's Park. One of Janesville's newest parks, Fireman's Park honors the men and women of the Janesville Fire Department. This should be a quick grab, you will be looking for a nano. Take a seat and check out the history of the JFD as well as the steel beam from the Twin Towers that fell on 9/11/01. NEVER FORGET the 343 firefighters who we lost that day. Permission to place cache was granted by Tom Presney, friend and Janesville Parks Director.
