Geocache Description:

Great views of the surrounding area.

This one is named after the “Boys of Summer” as the nearby Mercer County Animal Rehabilitation Center calls them. You will almost surely see some of the “Boys” and you will certainly see evidence of their presence. There is a large roost of Vultures in this area. The area is deeded to Mercer County. From near by the cache you will have sweeping views of the Delaware River directly across to Bowman’s Hill Tower.

While placing this cache we encountered a number of potential hazards: cliffs, steep terrain, barbed wire, ticks and others. The cache is within feet of the trail. There are at least two rough trails providing access to the area, so no bushwhacking is necessary. The trail-head is located at 40.336802, -74927567 and parking is nearby.
