Geocache Description:

Should be an easy park and grab, stay on the bike path. THIS IS NOT ON/NEAR THE TRAIN TRACKS, SO DON'T GO NEAR THEM!!

Another in my continuing series of caches I will be placing that reference what I consider Essential Albums of My Life.

Post-Nothing by the Japandroids; this one knocked me out. The first full-length from the Canadian rock duo was released in 2009 but after recording was finished in the summer of 2008 guitarist/singer Brian King and drummer/singer David Prowse  both thought the band wasn't going anywhere so mutually decided to quit at the end of 2008; but still wanted to release the album in 2009, although with no promotion. The album took off in the indie world and the rest is history. Now regarded as a fierce live band and after I met Brian, seriously, the nicest guys in the world. After they were opening for The Walkmen [a band I had no interest in seeing] I bought a 7” and a t-shirt from Brian and David, said thanks for the show and was on my way. As I reached my car I heard my name, it was Brian, chasing me with a tour poster just to say thanks for the support and wanted a hand shake. Truly a gentleman. Two men have never filled a record with so much [except maybe Local H, more on that later].

Essential Tracks:

The Boys Are Leaving Town
Young Hearts Spark Fire
Wet Hair
Crazy/Forever
Sovereignty
I Quit Girls
