This cache is located just off an interesting public footpath through fields and woodland that provides a little-known shortcut between Whickham and Dunston. The hilly fields have a great view over the Metrocentre and the west of Newcastle and you may be lucky enough to be joined by the friendly horses from the local stables grazing in the field. The footpath isn't paved and some parts are a little steep but in general it's a pretty easy walk.
The cache is a plastic click-lock container.
On-road parking is available at either end of the footpath (Borrowdale in Whickham or behind Market Lane in Dunston).
Please do not feed the horses.
