Geocache Description:

This place had always been a bowling alley since I can remember. My dad took me here when I was about 3 and let me push the ball down the lane. He played in a league here. I came here often as a child and once in a while as an adult. I don't know when the cool mural was painted. A while ago the bowling alley closed and after that signs went up in Spanish calling it a church, and I could see them gutting the inside. Made me feel kind of empty inside too. This should be a quick P & G.

I was passing by and had to do a double take, turn around, behold the travesty, and snap a picture.

THEY PAINTED OVER THE MURAL!

The mural was the reason I placed this cache here. They did leave a small section untouched, but the part they painted is a ghastly combination of goose-poop green and baby-poop tan. Yuck! For those of you lucky enough to have found the cache before the desecration, congratulations! The rest will have to settle for the picture on the web page.
