How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This hide IS NOT in the dog park proper. Spock and Winda want to show you a much larger (on-leash) part of the Cherokee Marsh/Yahara Heights County Park. This park is an unknown Dane County treasure, and you'll find a picnic table, peace and tranquility at ground zero.
From Highway 113, take River Road east to Riverside Drive to Canton Lane to a secluded parking entrance at N43 09.453 W89 23.471 on the northeast end of this park. Follow your nose (Spock has a big one, Winda has a short one) on a 1/2 mile walk to the cache!
Alternatively, you could park at the dog exercise area and stroll along the outside of the dog park fence towards this hide.
This park is great for swimmer dogs. Hootie Hoo from Spock and Winda!
The Dane County Geocaching Permit is obtained.
