When we were in Niagara Falls walking along the Niagara Parkway, one of our favourite geocaches was The Gnome's Hideaway. Until we build our own gnome's hideaway this is a cache that reflects our favourite cache in Ontario. We tried to place this cache as carefully as possible so that people walking by won't happen to see it. When you find this cache can you make sure to try to put it back exactly as found. BYOP! (Bring your own pen).
Also this is a different type of log book. You might feel as if you want to wind it up to put the log back in. All you have to do is push it. IF you can't push the log book back in that is because someone tried to wind it, so you will actually have to loosen it and then push it back in. When you find this cache you will know what I am talking about. :) Have fun. This is one of our favourite cache containers. Hopefully it will not walk away! OHHH and please use stealth, a lot of people walk along this trail as a short cut and to walk their dogs.
