This little neighborhood park is named ofter Bess Streeter Aldrich, born in 1881 in Cedar Falls Iowa. She was best known as the author of "Song of the Years" a historical novel based on the early settlers in this area.
In this quiet North Cedar neighborhood, during the summer months you might hear the ice cream truck go by in the middle of the afternoon.
