All geocachers are invited to the 10th annual WGA Geo-Picnic, to be held at the Pike Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, near Hartford. Pike Lake was the locaction of the WGA's first Geo-Picnic, and is named after the 522-acre spring fed kettle; Pike Lake.
Pike Lake does require a state park admission sticker or daily pass to enter the park.
There are currently 17 Caches located in and around the park, including the oldest geocache in Wisconsin!

Geocacher Social Bingo
Learn a little bit about your fellow geocachers while playing a fun game of BINGO.
We will be drawing for a special prize from the "blacked out" cards and more from the cards turned in with at least one bingo. Tickets will be handed out when you turn in your card. Must be present to win.
GeoGolf
Pick a point somewhere in the park near the area described on the geogolf contest page, which you can pick up when you register. Write down the coordinates of where you think the "pin" is. The three closest to the "Pin" will receive WGA prizes!
- 1st place: WGA 2012 Geocoin and a $25 gas card
- 2nd place: WGA 2012 Geocoin

Join the WGA Picnic to Picnic Travel Bug Race! Bring along a new travel bug to enter in this year long race. There will also be travel bug tags available for sale at the event. The winners will be crowned at the 2013 WGA Picnic! Get full details here.
Creative Cache Contest
Do you have a really creative cache idea you've been working on? Well let's have a little bit of fun with them. Bring along your most unusual or creative container and the top 3 vote getters will win a prize. Just drop off your container between 8:30am and 11:30am at the picnic shelter and it will be assigned a number. From 10:00PM to 4:00PM voting will be open to all attending the picnic, with the announcement of the winners to be done along with the Bingo Drawing and Raffle prizes at 4:40 PM. Please no names or identifying markings on the cache containers to keep things fair.
