Barnes Park Walk # 1 - Is Jack watching you? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines:**"You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."**

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

This cache has been put in Barnes park as it is one of my daughters favourite parks and it is her that has made the cache..Barnes park is a very popular park for families and dog walkers so plenty of mugglers about to watch out for..

This has now been made part of my circular walk in Barnes park with a bonus cache at the end. This park is not a 24 hour park and the gates do get locked on an evening. Please check the Sunderland.gov website for closing times.

The best place to park is in one of the park car parks entrances to the car parks being on Barnes park road or Ettrick Grove then you can enjoy the walk around the park on your way to the cache as they have got this park looking lovely now..

This cache is placed in a high muggler area so extra stealth is required. Please remember this is a public park and alot of work has gone into making this a beautiful park can I ask you to please respect the workers and the work they have done by leaving everything as it is and try to do no damage or as little as possible to the flora and fauna around the cache. This is a snap top container bigger enough for goodies and TB’s..

I would like to make a special request to the cachers that find this cache could you take something alone with you from somewhere else in the world something that is not of any value to anyone but that my daughter would find interesting something like a postcard, key ring or even a little county map or brochure. So we can then look up that place and see where in the world it is and find out interesting facts about it. She is very interested in other places around the world and is always full of questions so this is just an interesting way of finding out about different places...

I have left a FTF key ring in the cache for the FTF also filled it with plenty of goodie’s. Please remember if you do take something to try and leave something in its place...

BONUS :- Make note of the letter and number written on the top of each log sheet, they are repeated 2 times so if you miss one, or one has gone walkies, you should still be able to locate the bonus
