This series, FWP or Famous Wisconsin People, will acknowledge the accomplishments of some well-known (and maybe not so well-known) individuals from our state.
Jane Kaczmarek was born in Milwaukee on December 21, 1955. She grew up in Greendale and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in theater. She studied at the Yale School of Drama for her graduate degree and was part of its theater company.
She has appeared in over forty TV roles but her breakout role was as Lois Wilkerson in the 2000 Fox series Malcolm in the Middle. The series ran through 2006 and Kaczmarek was nominated for three Golden Globe and seven Emmy Awards during that time.
Kaczmarek continues to remain active in TV and is founder of “Clothes Off Our Back” which auctions off celebrity clothing for children’s charities. She is divorced from fellow Wisconsinite Bradley Whitford and has three teenage children at home.
You are searching for a small container placed in honor of Kaczmarek’s accomplishments.
Please park in designated areas. As always, treat the parks with respect. Please be respectful of neighbors in the nearby residential area and staff off of private property. Be aware of muggles and replace cache so that it is not visible to others. Permission to place this cache was given by Don Nehmer of the MMSD. Thanks! Congratulations to Hack1of2 on FTF.
