Cache is along the San Luis Rey River North Trail (SLRRNT).
Published on the July 4th, 2012 the 236th anniversary of our nations independence. This cache is in honor of all the patriots past and preset who made our nation possible, ensured it's continued existence, and strive to keep us free. Please take a moment to reflect on our freedom, pay respect to our National Ensign, and the nearby monument to a patriot.
This is the seventeenth cache I have placed on the SLRRNT power trail but not in distance order. This hard packed dirt/gravel trail is definitely suitable for bikes and strollers but not as pretty as it's parallel neighbor the San Luis Rey River Recreational Trail (SLRRT). By popular demand (at least one finder) I am expanding this series, apparently this is a more friendly side or at least you probably won't get run over by bicyclists over here. Unlike the first cache I placed along the trail this one is near the beginning of the SLRRNT. Check out the sign, take a rest and thank those industrious boy scouts for doing a project with distance markers along the trail. The container is a camo pill bottle.
