Public Art is an art form that is usually displayed so it is accessible to all. This means it is usually outside and in public areas. Public Art is often sculpture or a mural, but others types of Public Art include fountains and lighting displays.

Cedar Rapids has an abundance of Public Art, displayed both on public and private property. In order to claim a find for this cache, you must identify where certain pieces of Public Art are throughout the city, obtain the needed information from each piece and use that information to get the true coordinates for the final.

The American Gothic replications are from the citywide celebration in 2001, and the planes are from the Just Plane Art series in 2003.

Public Art D is new this year.

All works of art are located in the Cedar Rapids metropolitan area.

The cache can be found at N41 5A.BCD W091 3E.FGH.
