Geocache Description:

Another Dr. Who cache placed by geogirl. This is near Sawmill Prairie in Amana, just of the trail that leads to the Lily Pad pond.

This cache is seeking to destroy another cache on the trail. Have fun! You can park in the lot near the old depot and take the bike path near GZ. We have so much fun on this trail! Hello there, everyone! It's Geogirl here to give you a little lesson on Dalek history (I am the self-proclaimed expert in this field; perhaps I'll be a Dalekologist when I get older). Okay, lets get started. When the Daleks first appeared (In the second episode ever of Dr.Who) they were silver, with blue sensor globes and orange speakers. They were shown like this in episodes like "The Dalek's Master Plan" and "Power of the Daleks" all the way up to "Day of the Daleks" where in they appear a darker grey with black sensor globes. The Supremes (The Daleks controlling the normal, soldier Daleks) were golden with black sensor globes. Through the following episodes, the Daleks went through many different variations and changes, but were no longer the traditional grey-and-blue design (I would be happy to tell you alllllllll about them and the technical advancements they went through and assembly lines and blueprints and such, but we would be here for several days). Basically, I have painted this cache the traditional Grey-and-blue coloring because I liked it, an extra hint for those who haven't fallen asleep in the middle of my absent-minded Dalek rambling. I have posted pictures of the stages in the photos box if you want a reference. Until then, I'll just curl up with my Dr.Who books and remind myself of the elemental structure of Dalekanium and it's impact on the modern Dalek flagship. -The forever nerdy Geogirl
