Geocache Description:

Welcome to the trail around lake Kåsjön! It is about 8 kilometers long and will take you to many beautiful places.
You have now arrived to Gökegårdens infields. This small hill was the pastureland to the smaller and younger animals on the farm.

Välkommen till Kåsjörundan!

Vandringen kring Kåsjön har nu fört dig in på Gökegårdens inägor och åsen invid Källekärret. På kartan nedan ser du åsen under nummer 10 strax under A. Kartan visar även Gökegårdens byggnader nära B på kartan.

Området användes till bete under 1800-talet, ljungen dominerade och de enda större växterna var givetvis enbuskarna. Kanske gick gårdens getter på bete här. Betesmarken närmast gården brukade användas till de mindre och yngre djuren.
