Every Rest Area needs a cache and this one was the last in North Carolina that never had one.
Enjoy your break and a short stroll into the woods. This is a beautiful quiet Rest Area near Blowing Rock, US-221, and also the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was actually opened in 1950 and renovated in 1991.
The current container is a painted coffee can I won at an event. Let me know when the camo is starting to wear too much. These containers are easily scratched. Container is full of swag. Please trade up or even.
