Are you ready for a GREAT ADVENTURE?
Favorite points - Premium members get to award them to caches we find especially interesting, creative, naturally beautiful, or just plain 'fun'. What are the most favorite caches in PA? How many have you visited?
The list changes from week to week as more cachers award their 'favorite' points. Find and log the 10 most 'favorite' caches in PA and you are ready to snag this bonus smiley.
How can you find out which are the top ten most 'favorite' caches in PA right now?
Go to 'Hide or Seek a Cache', choose the link to the old search, search by State/Providence, choose PA, and then click on the blue ribbon icon on the top left of the list of caches. They will order themselves by most to least points awarded. (I understand this filter does not work for a non-premium member. So if that is your case, hook up with a good premium member friend to do this for you.)
Maybe you are a cacher who has logged some or all of these 'favorites' already. Great! ('Found' date does not matter!) If not, you are in for a treat if you are willing to take on this adventure.
The final is simple and straight forward. The actual cache find has a D/T rating of 1.5/2.0. Or maybe T-3 with the weeds as high as they are right now!
D/T of 4.5/3 listed above is a general average and is taking into account the various D/T and the traveling between the 'favorite' caches in PA.
The coordinates listed above are for the parking area on state game lands to find the final. Please wear orange during hunting season. Attributes are for the final location.
How to qualify?
Make a bookmark list (include this cache on the list), make it public and post a note on this cache page stating that you have logged the 10 most favorite PA caches (as of the date of the posted note - double check to make sure your ten are still current).
Or list the current 10 'favorite' caches in your note in this order: GC#, Name of cache, date you had logged it and Favorite points awarded as of the date of your note. Here is an example of my list as I completed it on 7/4/12. These were the top ten 'favorites' at that time:

Please post your note BEFORE you go for this cache so I can check on the cache. That will give me a chance to make sure everything is still in order at GZ for you to find it. No need to wait for an answer from me though. :-)
Your bookmark list or list in the note MUST list the CURRENT top 10 'favorite' caches at the time of the note. AND GO FOR IT! :-)

11/11/2012 update: If you are the proud CO of one of these 'favorite' PA caches, please count your ownership as a find in your quest for this challenge. The least we can do for giving PA such fine caches and giving us the enjoyment of these caches. :)
