Geocache Description:

We've always wanted to plant a cache in our front yard so we could meet and greet the occasional fellow cacher, but unfortunately as fate would have it there is already an existing cache hidden too close to our own homestead for a "legal" hide so we chose this spot as a surrogate. The cache should be a pretty easy park and grab. It's located in a relatively visible locale but nabbing the cache unbeknownst to passersby shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The Greenwood Hills development was a key factor in our decision to chose Adel to raise our family. When we purchased the lot in the neighborhood there was nothing but rough dirt lanes indicating where the roads were eventually to be built. The lot itself was yet to be marked, but we could visualize where we thought the lot and our future home would be... we weren't too far off, if only we had a GPS at the time! Tweleve years later we couldn't be happier with our decision. Adel is the perfect place to raise a family.... Small town atmosphere, strong school system, a vibrant and active community of friendly businesses and people and yet a relatively short drive to the Des Moines metro for "big city" services when needed.

Is it Heaven? No... its Living in the "Hills" in Adel, Iowa!!!

The cache is in a larger "micro" container with log and pencil. It may be possible to cram in a small trade item if the mood hits.

The coordinates should be close enough, although the GPS was acting up when trying nail down the coordinates so they may be a smidge off. Congratulations to Riskell for FTF!!
