How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This cache was originally placed for the 2012 WGA Picnic. Pike Lake was the site of GC1323 the first WGA Picnic in August of 2001.
Six years ago our three grandkids introduced us to geocaching. They were nine, seven and four years old. Their choice of toys to play with is much different today than it was then. They recently did a major cleaning of their rooms and much of what they treasured during the last six years now fills several large tubs labeled "geo-swag". It's a collection of former gifts, store giveaways and probably quite a few things that Sunshine and I bought for them. We filled a large jar with an assortrment of what they are parting with and the rest will be used to re-stock this cache or be traded at future finds. Please let us know if it is running low so we can keep it filled.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Pike Lake Unit of the Wisconsin DNR. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
