Geocache Description:

This cache was originally placed for the 2012 WGA Picnic. Pike Lake was the site of GC1323 the first WGA Picnic in August of 2001.

Pike Lake State Park has remnants of early landowners throughout the park. The most common are the rock fencerows. We have also found a foundation of an old building and rusty old farm junk. If you are observant you will notice something near the container that inspired the name for the cache.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Pike Lake Unit of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
