Geocache Description:

This is the 14 Leadership Traits series that follows Vandegrift Blvd from Papagallo Dr to College Blvd. You can get over 50 caches in not too much distance (on a bike) if you start near Luiseno Park and follow this trail to the SLRRNT, and then loop back around the SLRRT. The 14 Leadership Traits are taught to every Marine recruit and are good traits to be successful in life as well as in the military.

Integrity

Definition - Uprightness of character and soundness of moral principles. The quality of truthfulness and honesty.

Significance - A Marine’s word is his/her bond. Nothing less than complete honesty in all of your dealings with subordinates, peers, and superiors is acceptable.

Example - A Marine who uses the correct technique on the obstacle course, even when he/she cannot be seen by the evaluator.
