The first cache is a series that takes you on a circular walk around Linlithgow Loch. The entire walk is approximately 2.3 miles and should take about an hour at a comfortable pace.
On the walk there are lots of spots to stop and have a picnic.
There is a pay and display car park next to the Cross.
The Cross Well:
The Well was originally built in the 16th Century but was destroyed. A replica was then built in 1807 by a one-handed stonemason from Edinburgh.
To find the cache you need to work out the following...
A= When was the replica well built? 1A07
B= On the plaque at the front of the well, how many hundred years are commemorated?
So the final cache location is N55 5A. BAA W003 35.(A+1)BB
The cache is a small lock 'n' lock tupperware. Space for a couple of wee swaps. This is the only cache in the series that is a multi.
